This Thursday, March 20th, Thomasville Crimestoppers will be holding a barbecue fundraiser at the Jail Justice Center in Thomasville from 5:00 pm until 7: 00 pm.

Tickets for the fundraiser are only $7.00 and may be purchased at the Jail Justice Center from 8 am until 5 pm.  The Jail Justice Center in Thomasville is located at 921 Smith Avenue.

The Barbecue plates will consist of pulled pork, baked beans, corn on the cob, bread and cake.  Plates will be available in the parking lot on Thursday between 5 pm and 7 pm.

Proceeds will go to help Thomasville Crimestoppers fund proactive prevention programs available to youth and adults in 2008.

RE/MAX of Thomasville, Inc. is pleased to announce that Lorraine Jackson has been named 2007 RE/MAX Agent of the Year.    Broker, Julie Bryan made the announcement in the weekly staff meeting on February 21, 2008.   This is the second time that Lorraine has been honored as Agent of the Year, the first time being in 2004.

RE/MAX of Thomasville has announced that Fred Busbee has been named their 2007 “Rookie of the Year.” 

Fred is a lifelong resident of Thomasville, graduating from Central High School.  He is married to Becky Busbee who is Assistant Branch Manager at Thomasville National Bank, and they attend First Baptist Church of Thomasville. 

RE/MAX of Thomasville, Inc. has earned special recognition as one of the top contributors to Children’s Miracle Network in 2007 with donations of $10,000 or more.  We have been invited to attend a special recognition breakfast at the RE/MAX International Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada on Wednesday, March 5, 2008.  This event includes a special meal and photo session with Joshua Sundquist, Paralympics athlete and Children’s Miracle Network advocate, at the MGM Grand in the Studio Ballroom.

Thursday evening, January 31st, the Thomasville Area Board of REALTORS presented the 2007 awards at the Glen Arven Country Club in Thomasville.  Awards were presented to the following RE/MAX of Thomasville, Inc. associates in the following categories.

Friday afternoon, January 18th, officials from the Thomasville Chamber of Commerce as well as RE/MAX of Thomasville, City of Coolidge officials, and developers all met for the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Marshall Trace Subdivsion in Coolidge, Georgia.
